NXP introduces LifeVibes QuickPlayer 3.0
February 14, 2011
At Mobile World Congress, NXP Software will introduce its LifeVibes QuickPlayer 3.0. This new software, developed for Android devices, simplifies downloading of premium video content encrypted with Microsoft’s PlayReady content access and protection technology. QuickPlayer 3.0 downloads video content intelligently, detecting when a consumer is trying to play content which requires a licence and guiding them through the licence acquisition process before it starts playing back the content. QuickPlayer also offers a high quality viewing experience with sharp, smooth images; full-frame display; faultless lip sync and support for both H.264 and WMV encoded videos.
