The Carabao Cup fifth-round draw will be live streamed on Twitter on October 26^th, marking the first time an English football draw has taken place on social media.

The Thai energy drinks firm sponsoring this season’s knockout competition has been keen to extend coverage to the growing Asian market by attempting a series of innovations, some of which have drawn criticism. The first-round draw took place in Thailand and saw Charlton Athletic drawn out twice. The second round draw was held in China and took place at 4:15am UK time.

The fifth round draw will take place in London at 4pm UK time with BBC Question of Sport captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell doing the draw.
