Arianespace says it has signed two new launch contracts. One is for Intelsat, and Arianespace says it will launch I-39 in 2018. Another, for Japan’s SkyPerfect/JSAT, for JSAT-17, will launch in 2019.

Further updates from the rocket launch company covered planned activity on a Arianespace contracted Soyuz rockets to launch SES-15 for the Luxembourg-based satellite operator, and Hispasat AG-1 during 2017.

In total, Arianespace bid for 13 contracts for geostationary satellites in 2016 and won seven (SpaceX secured three, International Launch Services won two, and China secured one satellite launch).

Arianespace said that their 2016 revenues were flat at about €1.4 billion from 11 actual launches (spread over seven launches on its giant Ariane-5 rockets, two on the medium-lift Soyuz, and two on the smaller Vega launcher.

The launch company says it plans to handle 12 missions this year.
