France: Music Box channels now on Free

Music Box Group has launched its TV portfolio in France with Free, part of the iliad Group.
Free’s customers can now watch Music Box Classic as part of the basic TV offer, while six additional channels — Music Box Hits, Music Box Dance, Music Box Sexy, Music Box 80s, Music Box 90s and Music Box 00s — are available in a dedicated Music Box package. The offer brings together seven curated music channels covering current hits, dance music, timeless pop and rock classics, and the biggest tracks from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
While modern music discovery is increasingly driven by algorithms, Music Box seeks to keep the human touch at the centre of its programming. Each channel is built by music editors who select and mix videos around genres, moods, audiences and, most importantly, feelings. The playlists are designed to create a smooth, lean-back viewing experience. For that reason, music videos are combined with short music and entertainment formats, including themed mixes, charts, artist stories, music facts, interview highlights and more.

Originally launched in the UK in 1984, Music Box is one of Europe’s longest-established music television brands. Today, Music Box Group operates from Warsaw and Prague and develops a portfolio of linear music channels for international audiences.
France becomes the eighteenth country where Music Box Group channels are available, alongside markets including Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Tanzania and Kenya.
