Go Button Media revisits Secret Nazi Bases with UKTV & DCD Rights
June 4, 2026
Go Button Media is set to return to the echoes of World War II, announcing a fifth season of its long-running hit series Secret Nazi Bases, with investment from UKTV.
The new six-part season will begin production this summer, with delivery slated for spring 2027. International distribution (excluding the UK and Canada) remains with long-time partner DCD Rights, whose global efforts have made Secret Nazi Bases a worldwide success. Across its first four seasons, the series has been licensed in more than 120 territories, building a steadfast and widespread audience.
Momentum for the franchise shows no signs of slowing. DCD Rights has already secured multiple pre-sales for Season 5, including broadcasters in New Zealand, Germany, Spain, the Nordics and Central and Eastern Europe.
Blending history and engineering with gripping storytelling and cutting-edge analysis, Secret Nazi Bases explores the hidden infrastructure and dark ambitions of the Nazi regime. The upcoming season ventures deeper into the abyss, uncovering sprawling underground tunnel systems used for such dark deeds as storing stolen treasures and housing secret factories, examining eerie ceremonial sites tied to occult practices, and revealing imposing, unfinished megastructures that hint at the chilling scale of Hitler’s unrealised plans.
The series brings forgotten and buried stories back to life through an impactful visual mix of archival material, CGI, and re-enactments. Spotlighting historians, engineers, and Nazi experts as they guide viewers through the evidence and decode the intent behind mysterious and ominous constructions, Secret Nazi Bases also confronts the unsettling question: what might have been?
Daniel Oron, Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Go Button Media, says: “Secret Nazi Bases has proven itself to be one of our most successful series, and that’s thanks to the continued support of our incredible partners at UKTV and DCD Rights. We’re looking forward to being back filming in Europe again this summer. Even after four in-depth seasons, we are still uncovering countless new dark stories, remarkable structures and lesser-known histories that will continue to surprise, intrigue and terrify.”
Nicky Davies Williams, CEO at DCD Rights comments, “With the highest production values and compelling storytelling, Secret Nazi Bases continues to intrigue audiences throughout the world. We are very pleased to have a further exceptional season to share with our many international clients.”
