Sandbox Group has launched its PlayKids Learning add-on subscription on Prime Video in Canada, providing a bilingual destination with fully localised French and English content.
PlayKids Learning brings together a lineup of popular shows, while the service is safe and ad-free, COPPA-certified and kidSAFE Seal-approved. The content line-up of the newly launched kids add-on subscription includes:
Baby Shark – The beloved shark family brings catchy songs and underwater adventures that teach colors, numbers, and social skills through irresistible sing-alongs.
Pocoyo – The curious little boy in blue explores his world through playful adventures that build problem-solving skills, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
Alphablocks – Lovable letter blocks bring phonics to life, spelling their way through adventures and teaching kids to read one sound at a time.
I Love to Learn (PlayKids Original) – PlayKids’ original series makes learning irresistible through songs, stories, and activities designed to spark curiosity and discovery.
Lupi Club (PlayKids Original) – Join Lupi and friends as they explore the world around them, teaching social-emotional skills, friendship, and problem-solving through heartwarming adventures.
Abhi Arya, Co-Founder and Partner at Sandbox Group, commented: “We built PlayKids Learning on a simple promise: kids should never have to choose between fun and learning. With shows like Alphablocks and Pocoyo alongside our award-winning originals, we’re creating a space where every giggle, every song builds real skills. Launching in Canada with full French and English content on Prime Video means we’re making that promise accessible to families coast to coast. Parents can hand over the remote with total confidence, knowing that on PlayKids Learning little ones will only ever find safe, joyful and educational entertainment.”
Prime Video customers in Canada can subscribe to PlayKids Learning for C$7.99 (€4.97) following a 7-day free trial. The add-on subscription is accessible across smart TVs, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV, and more, making quality educational entertainment available anytime, anywhere through the Prime Video app.
This launch continues Sandbox Group’s mission to make edutainment accessible worldwide, with Prime Video add-on subscription now live in the UK, US, Australia, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and New Zealand.
