Jahan Numa from BBC News Urdu launches on Aaj News TV

BBC News Urdu has launched TV programme Jahan Numa (Window to the World) on Pakistan’s TV channel Aaj News. Broadcast on Aaj News at 19:30 local time (14:30 GMT), Monday to Friday, the programme also will be available via BBC News Urdu digital platforms from 20:00 local time (15:00 GMT).
Produced in London, with the BBC’s Khalid Karamat and Samrah Fatima as lead presenters, Jahan Numa showcases BBC News Urdu’s vast network of correspondents. The 18-minute programme brings global and regional news stories – from news and current affairs to climate, science, technology, and culture. The programme’s stories will use verified data and analysis to provide context and relevance to its diverse audiences.
