BASE, DEGI add 4 new members
December 8, 2025
The British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE) and DEGI: The Digital Entertainment Group International have announced an expansion of their combined membership, adding four new organisations from across the global screen-sector ecosystem.
GfK joins as a hybrid BASE and DEGI member, alongside new BASE members Vertigo Releasing, Vubiquity and WLP Vision.
Together, BASE and DEGI say these additions reinforce the increasingly holistic entertainment vision that they are championing for 2026 and beyond: one community that connects data, insight, distribution, logistics, production, creative services, platforms and retail to drive sustainable growth in transactional performance.
About the new cohort:
• GfK, a global insights player and a contributor to the international DEGI Roadshows, including recent Nordic and wider European activations, strengthens the data, measurement and intelligence foundation the community draws on.
• Vertigo Releasing, a UK independent distributors, adding creative and commercial perspective from theatrical through to Home Entertainment release.
• Vubiquity, a provider of content managed services and products, reinforces the ecosystem’s connection across studios, platforms and retailers.
• WLP Vision, specialists in DVD, Blu-ray and UHD-BD authoring and subtitling, as well as digital delivery to all major platforms.
The expansion builds on strong growth over the past two years, with recent arrivals including Prime Video, Curzon, MUBI, AQOA, Kantar, Official Charts, Next-Gen Media, True Brit, Xperi, and Spafax, creating an ever-stronger community of 100+ members and partners collaborating to elevate Home Entertainment and transactional performance internationally.
