Whisper North commissioned for New Year’s Day special with Joe Wicks on ITV

Whisper North has been commissioned by ITV to produce a brand-new New Year’s Day special, fronted by fitness coach and broadcaster Joe Wicks.
The one-off programme, Joe Wicks New Year’s Day, will deliver the very best in family-friendly lifestyle content, in Joe’s signature style – informative, invigorating, and entertaining providing viewers with an uplifting start to 2026.
Designed to energise, motivate, and inspire, the 1 x 60 special will feature:
· Quick-fire workouts with Joe to get the nation moving
· Healthy and delicious recipes, featuring Nisha Katona of Mowgli Street Food, plus celebrity chef Tilly Ramsay joining Joe for a chat about her inspirations and New Year’s resolutions
· Clinical psychologist Dr Julie Smith sharing five top tips on sticking to positive changes for 2026
· Expert advice on health, wellness, and mindset, with Javeno McLean, exercise specialist and motivator joining Joe
· A celebrity interview and work out with Olly Murs to round out the hour.
The New Year’s Day special will air on ITV and ITVX, offering audiences a positive, practical and entertaining kick-start to the year ahead.
