Radial signs trio of international deals at MIPCOM

Radial Entertainment and FilmRise, a Radial Entertainment company, has announced the acquisition of exclusive digital distribution rights to a library of 15 romance and holiday films from Studio TF1 America, targeting Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Latin America. Additionally, the company is expanding its distribution rights for its original true-crime series, Millionaire Murders, acquired from Sphere Abacus, to include Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, as well as the expansion of rights for the historical drama series Medici, licensed from Bruder Releasing Inc (BRI), which will now include the UK, Ireland, and Spain, in addition to the US, Canada, and Caribbean.

Radial Entertainment and FilmRise will now bring the gripping true-crime series, Millionaire Murders (10 x 60), to audiences in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The series delves into shocking cases of wealthy individuals whose lives are tragically cut short under mysterious and often sinister circumstances, combining investigative storytelling with high production values to captivate viewers.
In addition, all three seasons of Medici, (24 x 60) will now be available to viewers in the UK, Ireland, and Spain. A dramatic saga set during the Italian Renaissance, the series stars two-time Academy Award-winner Dustin Hoffman as the patriarch Giovanni and Golden Globe® Award-winner Richard Madden as his son Cosimo. The series follows Cosimo who finds himself thrust into a leading role in his wealthy and powerful family of bankers when his father Giovanni suddenly dies.
Reel One’s library of holiday and romance films, celebrated for their heartwarming and family-friendly themes, will be available in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Latin America. Known for delivering timeless tales of love, hope, and festive cheer, these films resonate with a broad demographic and add universal appeal to FilmRise’s diverse content offerings.
