Equativ, Trainline partner to streamline travel advertising supply chains
September 16, 2025
Equativ, the end-to-end media platform, has announced a new strategic partnership with Trainline, the European independent rail and coach travel app. Thanks to this collaboration, Equativ’s media platform, Maestro, now offers access to Trainline’s in-app and web display inventory in the UK and key European markets through header bidding integration.
Travel brands, agencies, and trading desks will now benefit from direct, scalable access to Trainline’s context-rich, intent-driven inventory. Together, both parties aim to reduce industry reliance on inefficient, fragmented, multi-hop supply chains.
“As demand for seamless, privacy-compliant access to quality inventory continues to rise, our partnership with Trainline reaffirms Equativ’s mission to deliver valuable opportunities for brands in the travel sector,” said Salomé Le Hyaric, Head of Supply at Equativ. “Trainline is a key player in European travel and together we’re enhancing the buying experience for agencies and brands looking to reach highly engaged travel audiences with greater precision.”
Trainline’s decision to partner with Equativ reflects a shared focus on transparency, user-centric advertising, and streamlined monetisation. By leveraging Maestro by Equativ platform, Trainline can activate its inventory more efficiently while buyers gain a clearer path to reaching consumers during key decision-making moments.
“Equativ has demonstrated the local expertise, programmatic technology, and supply chain integrity we need to advance our ambition of improving rail and coach travel experiences for all,” adde Stéphane Gillet, Head of Programmatic & AdOps Europe at Trainline. “This partnership will help us better connect brands with our audience in a privacy-first, high-quality environment.”
