CosmoBlue Media, the media entertainment company, has announced the launch of CosmoGO’s TVoD service in Canada transforming what was formerly known as Cineplex Store. The new platform delivers the latest movies and series to customers, available to watch anytime, anywhere, across all devices.

“CosmoGO marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Canadian audiences,” said Tanuka Roy, General Manager of CosmoBlue Media in Canada. “This launch is just the start, and over the next few months, we’ll roll out options, including Pay Per View (PPV),  Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD), and Advertising-based Video on Demand (AVoD) to become a complete multi-platform destination for film, TV, sports, concerts, and live events.”

CosmoGO is rolling out a multi-layered marketing strategy in Canada  which it says is designed to maximise awareness, early adoption, and sustained engagement. Initial digital marketing efforts will focus on high-converting campaigns targeting the platform’s existing customer base, with additional media deployed across social media and digital advertising networks. As additional services roll out in the coming months, including SoOD, PPV, and AoOD, CosmoGO will expand to out-of-home activations, enhanced digital advertising, spanning media from mobile, theatres, websites, and video walls in high-traffic locations. The strategy will also include promotional partnerships with leading media services, to amplify reach and engagement.

CosmoBlue Media’s expansion into Canada is part of a larger global strategy, building on a content portfolio that spans 250 million+ households in over 100 countries.
