Dramatify launches AI‑powered Rundown Suite

May 28, 2025

Dramatify, the cloud‑native production management platform trusted by broadcasters on five continents, has announced a built‑in AI Assistant for its Rundown Suite.

The new capabilities accelerate content creation while preserving the precise timing, multi-camera coordination, and rock-solid reliability that have made Dramatify the go-to solution for world championships, Olympic broadcasts, Eurovision qualifiers, The Voice franchises, and daily children’s programmes.

Dramatify’s Rundown Suite supports live and studio shows, streaming channels, and fully remote productions, handling everything from sports coverage, festivals, and galas to entertainment, current affairs, and reality TV.

Native cue cards keep talent on point, and teleprompter integrations with optional live‑updating feeds ensure presenters see changes the instant they happen. Combined with SPX Graphics and the vision‑mixer system CuePilot, productions can keep graphics, rundown scripts, and camera cuts perfectly in sync—whether you’re running ten cameras in a studio or directing a stadium show from halfway around the world.

What the new AI Assistant brings

● Instant outline drafts — Enter show length, commercial breaks and a short episode synopsis; the assistant produces a fully structured rundown in seconds.

● Rapid idea generation — Ask for an intro to a new series, interview questions, fun facts about an artist, or even a comedy sketch; the assistant returns editable copy in any of 59 languages.

● Human‑in‑command workflow — Suggestions appear as drafts you can accept, tweak or discard; timing and approvals stay exactly where they belong: in your team’s hands.

● Solid IP security — By default, prompts are routed through Dramatify’s private Microsoft Azure OpenAI endpoint, where all customer data is strictly isolated and never used to train the underlying language model. For even tighter control, teams can connect their own OpenAI‑compatible API instance, ensuring content never leaves their own infrastructure.

“Producers told us they wanted to spend less time on mechanical outlining and writing routine content, and more time crafting great content,” said Annika Lidne, co‑founder & CEO of Dramatify. “By weaving a helpful AI into the Rundown Suite, we’re giving them a creative, high-quality co‑pilot without disturbing the precise timing and multi‑camera control they rely on.”

Battle‑tested in the world’s biggest broadcasts

From Alpine slopes to stadium stages, Dramatify’s Rundown Suite has proven its resilience in countless live sports events—including recent world championships and Olympic coverage—as well as major entertainment formats such as The Voice and national Eurovision qualifiers. The addition of generative AI builds on that track record, turning outline hours into minutes and freeing editorial teams to focus on storytelling and improved AI-powered content quality.
