VeEX launches MPM-HD-822 OSFP800 dual port test module

VeEX, a global provider of innovative test and measurement solutions for next-generation networks, has introduced a new addition to its product portfolio, the MPM-HD-822 OSFP800 dual port test module.

Part of the MPA-HD series product family, the MPM-HD-822 supports multi-port 800G OSFP800 testing with advanced L2/L3 traffic generation and analysis. The MPA-HD platform now provides up to 8x native OSFP800 or QSFP-DD800 test ports per instrument, addressing the complexities of 800G testing with ease.

MPM-HD-822 OSFP800 test module key features:

  • Dual native OSFP800 test ports supportingOSFP800 and OSFP transceivers, AOC, DAC and AEC cables as well as  high power coherent ZR and OpenZR+ plugs (>30W)
  • 800GE, 400GE, Nx200GE and Nx100GE breakout applications
  • Transceiver, FEC/BER and L2/L3 traffic generation and analysis
  • 8x independent 800G OSFP tests per MPA-HD chassis

The MPM-HD-822 is used as a pluggable module in VeEXs latest generation MPA platform, MPA-HD, the state-of-the-art chassis for next generation testing featuring fully functional Python API, or SCPI, as well as a web interface making it easier to on-board in any existing test lab.

Existing MPA customers can take advantage of the unified Web UI and Python API, streamlining the transition to 800G OSFP/QSFP-DD module support and traffic verification without the need for extensive retraining or automation script modifications.”
