The revolving door at Russian space agency Roscosmos has turned again.
On March 20th, Roscosmos announced the appointment of Vasily Titov to the post of General Director at subsidiary organisation TsNIIMash and Vasily Marfin to lead NPO Lavochkin. Marfin previously worked at TsNIIMash and NPO Energomash. Around the same time, Director of RKTs Progress Dmitry Baranov was promoted to Deputy Director General for Industry Development at Roscosmos.
The sum total of the moves is that former RKTs Progress head Dmitry Baranov seemingly moves to a headquarters position.
On February 19th, Putin appointed Yuri Borisov to a position of a Special Representative of the Russian President for Space Cooperation, replacing Sergei Krikalev, who was dismissed from that post on February 18th. In turn, Krikalev was appointed Deputy Director General for Piloted and Automated Complexes at Roscosmos.
