Proto used by Canada’s Breakfast Television
March 25, 2025
Todaya (March 25th) on Rogers channel CityTV’s popular morning show in Canada, Breakfast Television, Howie Mandel beamed into the news desk in a Proto M unit to talk with host Tim Bolen about the new season of Canada’s Got Talent.
Mandelwill beam in every Tuesday morning during the season for updates. This is the first time Proto has been used as part of a news or talk show in Canada.
Mandel is a known germaphobe who despises travel so that’s what attracted him to use, and later invest in, Proto. Rogers has previously used Proto at Toronto Maple Leafs events.
Elsewhere on TV, Proto is in use on the ESPN show College GameDay each week to beam WNBA players onto the court from their home cities and — utilising its AI tools – Proto was a central part of every episode of the last Big Brother season on CBS.
