The Cunard fleet will fully install Starlink equipment on its cruise liners. Installs started in June.
Cunard’s president, Katie McAlister, said: “Whether it’s uploading a picture of a sunset as you sail away from a newly discovered destination or catching up with the news, live events, or content from home, Starlink will make it even easier for our guests and colleagues to stay connected.”
Cunard says that Starlink will be available in the public space on board its ships. Three Cunard ships, the Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth will be fully fitted with Starlink by the end of 2023. Cunard’s latest ship, Queen Anne, will launch with the service in May next year.
Cunard, founded in 1840, is now owned by Carnival Corp.
