Malaysia’s Astro DTH service, Kristal Astro, is to end its Brunei transmissions on March 31st.
The company blames the growing digital-based services in what is a modest population of fewer than 500,000.
Kristal Astro stated: “Considering the fast changing technology trends causing huge shifts in consumer preferences towards digital media consumption, we have come to a fork in the road that calls for us to make this difficult decision.”
