May 27, 2020
Apple has announced a new partnership with The Jim Henson Company to reboot the classic series Fraggle Rock.
The new series will be reimagined as a global Apple Original series for the Apple TV+ platform. Produced by The Jim Henson Company in association with New Regency, the series will reunite the original stars – Gobo, Red, Boober, Mokey, Wembley and Uncle Travelling Matt – for new songs and adventures.
The announcement follows the success around the recent debut of the Apple TV+ shorts Fraggle Rock: Rock On!, with new episodes currently available on the service – featuring cameos from the likes of Alanis Morissette, Neil Patrick Harris, Ziggy Marley and more.
