Spain: Vodafone offers free Seriesfan to slow subs loss

Vodafone Spain is offering its TV series package, Seriefans, for free in its convergent packages in a move to slow the loss of subscribers to rivals due to a lack of football.
The company is also improving its convergent offer with more data and the integration of Amazon Prime Video.
Until September 30th, those with convergent packages can enjoy the free Seriefans offer, along with HBO, FoxNow and AXN Now. For another €10 (instead of €16) subscribers can gain access to more TV series with Serielovers which comprises of Seriefans, StarzPlay, Movistar Series and Amazon.
It is estimated that there are around 180,000 football subscribers in Vodafone whom Movistar and Orange aim to win with low cost football promotions during the summer.
