Mediapro €200m International TV Studio

Spanish TV group Mediapro has set up a global content maker branded as ‘The Mediapro Studio’ to produce TV content targeting the International TV market.
With a budget of €200 million, the studio will produce TV series, films, short form content and documentaries in Spain, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Finland, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the US and the Middle East. In 2019, it plans to produce some 34 TV series in Spanish and English.
Mediapro has already entered into production alliances with HBO, Viacom, Netflix, Amazon, Fox, Turner, Disney, YLE, Sony, Vice, DirecTV, Hulu, TF1, Televisa, Univision, Movistar, Tve, A3Media, Mediaset Espana and Globo Internacional.
