Study: Consumers embracing smart speakers

Consumers’ use of voice services is on the rise, according to research by Adobe Analytics, which surveyed over 1,000 US consumers. The study found the most common voice activities are asking for music (70 per cent) and the weather forecast (64 per cent) via smart speakers. Other popular activities include asking fun questions (53 per cent), online search (47 per cent), checking the news (46 per cent), basic research/confirming info (35 per cent), and asking directions (34 per cent).
