TalkTalk off-net TV customers switched to Rakuten TV

Off-net transactional TalkTalk TV users are become Rakuten TV customers – gaining access to all the content available on the SVoD service.
TalkTalk customers’ service is to remain unchanged, with continued access to TVoD, EST, linear channels and SVoD via TalkTalk TV on their set-top boxes and connected devices
The company says that Rakuten TV has been carefully selected as the service for off-net transactional customers to continue enjoying their previously purchased films and TV programmes. The base, which is largely made up of customers who do not take TalkTalk broadband and TV, will be automatically moved to Rakuten TV. Off-net transactional users will be able to watch their purchased content through Rakuten TV where available and can purchase new content in 4K HDR across a number of compatible Smart TVs.
The TV service to TalkTalk broadband and TV subscribers who remain unaffected. As such, customers will still be able to access all of their existing purchased content via their TalkTalk TV set–top box, or through the TalkTalk TV app online, on iOS and Android enabled devices.
Customers affected will be contacted by TalkTalk TV ahead of their migration to Rakuten TV.
