London-based speciality satellite operator Avanti Communications has hired Toby Robinson as its new CCO. Robinson was previously working at Eaton Towers, a towers and masts business focused on Africa.
“This is a new – and vitally important – role at Avanti and we are delighted to have someone of Toby’s experience and track record joining us at this moment in our development,” said Alan Harper, CEO at Avanti, which announced in mid-September that Nigel Fox had re-joined the Avanti board as CFO officer. Former CEO (and co-founder) David Williams stepped down in August.
Robinson has been working at Avanti for the past month or two.
Harper was CEO at Eaton Towers, which he founded.
