Sony’s Crackle for Argentina
June 7, 2017
Sony Picture Television Networks is launching its Crackle SVoD service in Argentina through an agreement with Gigared, a telco operating in the north of the country.
Initially available for Gigared subscribers in Paraná, Santa Fé, Corrientes, Resistencia and Posadas, both broadband and pay-TV customers will be able to subscribe to the service.
“The launch marks Crackle’s entrance into Argentina and provides Gigared with a turnkey service to deliver some of the world’s best titles to its customers,” said José Rivera Font, VP and GM, SPT Digital Networks, Latin America.
Last week, Sony announced that Crackle would also be launching in Ecuador.
