Amazon Prime Video has announced August 25th as the premiere date for the highly-anticipated superhero comedy series The Tick starring comedy legend Peter Serafinowicz as “The Tick”.

The Tick will premiere in the UK and US on Amazon Prime Video simulataneously and will be available globally on Prime Video.

The series is created by executive producer and original illustrator of The Tick Ben Edlund. The cast includes Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy, Shaun Of The Dead) Griffin Newman (Search Party), and Valorie Curry (Blair Witch, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2).

About The Tick

In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with zero powers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero.
