Enensys wins patent dispute
August 31, 2016
Enensys, designers and manufacturers of digital TV transmission technologies, has successfully defended a patent at the European Patent Office.
Eric Deniau, VP Operations and Innovation at Enensys, said, “Innovation is key in our industry and part of Enensys’ DNA; we are constantly thinking in terms of how to provide better solutions to satisfy our customers’ needs. This is reflected in the growing number of patents granted worldwide to the company. We’re very proud of this and ready to do everything we can to demonstrate and defend our Intellectual Property. That’s why we‘re delighted to have won this case against competitors who were claiming that one of our major patents was invalid.”
The patent dispute involved the company’s DTT network regionalisation solution, which allows Enensys to provide broadcasters with a cost-effective and flexible way to differentiate their services with dedicated, regionalised content.
