TF1 launches Focus news
August 28, 2015
From Pascale Paoli-Lebailly in Paris
French commercial media group TF1 has launched ‘Focus’, a full social and digital news journal conceived in partnership with Facebook.
Focus will be available on web portal MyTF1 and via the Facebook homepage of ‘TF1 Le JT.
This social news bulletin is set to select and cover the news most discussed across social networks. Focus will be shot outside the news studio, anchored by TF1’s news team, and will ‘be delivered in an informal way.’
“This innovation marks TF1’s willingness to test news ways of writing and broadcasting news coverage so as to back the evolution of how people consume news,” TF1 said.
