Netzkino on Amazon Fire TV
December 22, 2014
German free-of-charge video-on-demand (VoD) service Netzkino has launched on Amazon Fire TV. With its streaming box, the internet retailer takes online entertainment to the TV set. Fire TV users can choose from more than 1,500 movies at Netzkino, some in HD quality. Users neither need to register nor sign up for a subscription to gain access.
“We provide a unique technical reach making us particularly interesting for the advertising industry,” said Peter von Ondarza, founder of Netzkino. The VoD service is financed through commercials shown before and during the movies.
