Pirated media assets diverting billions

According to Tru Optik, a Big Data start-up that empowers enterprises with the leading indicators and insight needed better to identify and monetise audience and consumer demand, more than $275 billion of digital content was pirated through peer-to-peer networks during the first six months of 2014.
