ProSiebenSat.1 takes Deezer stake
June 12, 2014
ProSiebenSat.1 Media has taken a stake in streaming music company Deezer, in a deal that will see the German TV broadcaster’s own music service AMPYA, with the global streaming set up.
AMPYA will be integrated into the Deezer platform under the sub-brand MyVideo.
Deezer Europe VP Gerrit Schumann commented: “Deezer and ProSiebenSat.1 are moving forward together. With Deezer we are offering the most intuitive personalised music service on the market. With the reach of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group we will be allowing an even larger audience unlimited access to our music catalogue”.
