May 16, 2014
Promptlink Communications, a solutions provider to broadband network providers, today announced release of the Promptlink Set-Top Box Test Platform (STBTP). Similar to other Promptlink test solutions, the STBTP product performs a complete functional test of all video and audio features of a digital set-top box, and is designed to be used by non-technical personnel.
“As a leader in Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) test solutions, Promptlink recognised the importance of adding video equipment testing to our suite of products” said Foad Towfiq, president and CEO of Promptlink Communications, a US-based company with headquarters in Oceanside, Calif, in San Diego County. “We have provided an advanced analysis tool to allow our customers to manage field-returned inventory and quickly determine functional and non-functional equipment at the highest level of reliability. Along with our recent release of a wireless router testing solution, the STBTP product further expands our product offerings to the cable and telecommunications industry.”
