A major India MSO, Siti Cable, says it will need 1.5 million digital set-top boxes to equip its Eastern-region customers in the coming year.
Siti Cable is hosting a client day for its 14,000 local cable operators (Last mile operators) on January 4th in order to explain its expansion plans.
Siti says it has already supplied 1.7 million boxes into the region, and says it is on track to complete its digitisation obligations by the end of 2014.
