Ooyala powers Norwich online TV channel
March 5, 2013
Ooyala, the online video technology company, is powering Mustard Online, the new web TV offering from one of the first local TV stations in the UK to be licensed by Ofcom. Covering Norwich and part of Norfolk, Mustard Online is now available online and a full broadcast service will be available on digital terrestrial TV on channel 8 later in 2013.
Mustard TV is owned by community media company Archant, which publishes regional daily and weekly newspapers, regional and consumer magazines and associated digital properties and events.
Mustard chose Ooyala to power its new online channel because of Ooyala’s Data architecture and video analytics that deliver key insights on audience behaviour that inform critical decisions for premium video broadcasters.
