RAI launches Web TV portal for foreign viewers

Italian public broadcaster RAI has launched Rai.tv World, a new international Internet portal which offers video content that can be enjoyed by TV viewers from around the world.
The programme offer includes live news from thematic channel RAI News, the main news programmes from RAI’s terrestrial TV channels, sports news and live radio. Also available is RAI Replay, which provides viewers with the opportunity of reviewing TV programmes broadcast during the last seven days by the RAI 1, RAI 2, RAI 3 and RAI 5 TV channels. In addition, with the Video on Demand service it also possible to watch a selection of RAI programmes organised by thematic areas.
All users connecting to the Rai.tv portal from abroad will be automatically redirected to the new website. Soon, the portal will also offer specific content for an international audience prepared by Rai World.
