“With Netflix for Windows Phone, users in the UK, Ireland and Latin America can now enjoy TV programmes and films on the go,” said Greg Peters, Vice President of Product Development at Netflix. “Existing Netflix members in the UK, Ireland and Latin America now have greater flexibility than ever in enjoying Netflix wherever and whenever they want.”
Netflix is available on all Windows Phone devices, including those manufactured by HTC, LG, Nokia and Samsung. Windows Phone users can download the free Netflix App from the Windows Phone Marketplace with immediate effect.
Netflix has been available on Windows Phones in the United States and Canada since November 2010. The updated app provides Windows Phone users in the US and Canada with enhancements in browsing and streaming quality as well support for subtitles, closed captioning and alternate audio.
