On Demand Group launches SVOD with Cablevision
December 8, 2011
SeaChange International subsidiary On Demand Group (ODG), the European VoD aggregator, has launched a premium TV subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) to subscribers to Cablevision, Mexico’s leading cable provider.
The new service will enable Cablevision subscribers to view a wide selection of premium TV series and children’s programmes, blockbuster studio and independent movies and the latest music videos, with the ability to pause, rewind or watch the programme of their choice over again – whenever they want.
The launch adds to the transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) service for the latest movies, which ODG launched with Cablevision and was announced in October. Cablevision’s VoD services are delivered on a platform of SeaChange video back-office software and video servers.
