Harmonic has announced that Shenzhen Topway Video Communication, one of China’s leading cable operators offering advanced digital video services, has expanded its HDTV and VOD services with Harmonic headend and edgeQAM solutions. With this new deployment, Shenzhen Topway Video Communication will deliver 13 channels of HDTV programming, and offering new HD VOD services and enhanced on-demand capabilities, such as time-shifted TV, to its one million subscribers.
