August 29, 2007
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Spain’s ONO has reshuffled its pay-TV offer with the addition of new pay-TV packages and broadband Internet access with a speed of up to 25 Megabytes, being the first company in the country with such a capacity.
Its three new pay-TV packages are Esencial (Essential), with more than 40 TV channels; Extra, with more than 70 channels; and Total, with more than 95 TV channels. All these packages will include ONO’s VoD service OJO. Subscribers will be able to have access to ONO’s pay-per-view offer and new Latin pack (aimed at Latin American subscribers) and premium channels like Playboy TV.
The company is also offering three options to have broadband Internet access with speeds of 25, 12 and/or 6 Megabytes.
