Danish cable operator TDC’s Q1 revenue increase 0.5 per cent to DKK 6.644 billion (€880m). Profit for the period excluding exceptional totalled DKK 740 million, down by DKK 133 million (15.2 per cent). DirecTV profits up; subs disappoint

US satellite TV provider DirecTV’s profit and revenue rose in the first quarter but it added fewer subscribers than expected. DirecTV added 81,000 new subscribers in the US in the quarter, missing analysts’ average forecast of 92,000.
