February 18, 2016
CSI Sports, a global provider of televised fighting content, has signed multiple new carriage agreements for its new 24/7 HD Network Fight Sports in Sweden and Norway with Nordic pay-TV operator Telenor, at Telenor Sweden (including Canal Digital Cable, Telenor IP, Bredbandsbolaget and former Tele 2 Cable) and Canal Digital Kabel TV in Norway.
These latest deals continue the rapid global expansion and demand for its Fight Sports network. Since launching in December 2012, CSI Sports has secured carriage agreements for its Fight Sports network to leading operators across Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America.
CSI Sports, Co-CEOs, Richard and Craig Miele said, “We are pleased to become part of the multi-country Telenor Group in the region. Our Fight Sports expansion continues on the back of new programming investments in live and original programming and leading channel performance results across Europe and Asia”.
