Amazon Prime for Austria
November 21, 2014
Amazon has launched its Prime Instant Video streaming service in Austria.
The Austrian service is currently only available via a Prime bundle for €49 a year, giving premium shipping on its shopping website, a free e-book each month and full access to the Prime Instant Video service. The service also launches with a 30 day free trial.
Amazon said the Austrian service will have all of its original TV series including Transparent and Extant, as well as popular series including The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory and movies such as Argo and Django Unchained.
“The most common question we are asked by our customers in Austria is, when we bring the Prime Offer to Austria,” said Xavier Garambois, vice president of European retail from Amazon. “We are pleased to now offer our customers to be able to offer the benefits of Prime also in Austria: Whether your entertainment thanks to exclusive movies and series or two-day delivery guarantee even with last minute Christmas gifts.”
