MAXtv IPTV subs swell

Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has reported a total of 150,953 subscribers to its IPTV service ‘MAXtv’ at the end of the first quarter of 2009, up 167.9 per cent from the 56,355 customers registered at the end of the same period in 2008. The telco noted that this strong growth was supported by the new standalone MAXtv service, which does not require a broadband subscription.
