Accedo, maxdome deliver VoD for PS3
November 22, 2012
Accedo, an enabler of TV application solutions, and maxdome, the German leading VoD provider, have confirmed the launch of a Playstation 3 video-on-demand app.
The app, which was developed by Accedo is part of a partnership announced between Accedo and maxdome earlier this year to develop next generation Smart TV apps for multiple platforms.
The PS3 app gives users access to a vast catalogue of maxdome video titles, including films, series, comedy shows, documentaries, music, children’s programmes, and much more.
“We are delighted to be working with maxdome on this latest app,” commented Michael Lantz, CEO, Accedo. “maxdome is a very innovative company with a clear vision of the future OTT market. Whilst the Smart TV market is growing, games consoles are already extremely popular so this will enable maxdome to rapidly extend its reach.”
