Malaysia: Astro, Disney+ expand collaboration

Astro, the Malaysian content and entertainment provider, and Disney+ have announced an expanded collaboration that brings together world-class content and Malaysian storytelling, extending reach and enabling more audiences across the country to discover both Disney+ and Astro’s content.

The expanded collaboration will see more of Disney+’s movies, series and originals made available across Astro’s platforms, including Astro TV, Astro GO and NJOI. In turn, a curated slate of Astro’s locally produced content and popular Malaysian shows will be showcased on Disney+.

Customers across Astro and NJOI can enjoy a wider selection of Disney+ movies and series, including blockbuster titles such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingsman: The Secret Service and The Incredible Hulk, alongside popular favourites such as Maleficent, Brave and Monsters University, as well as hit series including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scrubs and New Girl.

A growing selection of Malaysian titles will be available on the Disney+ platform across genres including horror, drama, reality, action and kids programming, featuring favourites such as Zombi Kampung Pisang, Polis Evo 1 & 2, Ola Bola, Khun:Sa – Che Khun Che Nisa, Takdir Itu Milik Aku, Syurga Itu Bukan Mudah, Travelawak: Projek Bapak Bapak and Didi & Friends.
