4iG invests in Axiom Space

4iG Space and Defence Technologies has joined Axiom Space development and growth plans as an investor. As part of the transaction, 4iG’s Space and Defence holding company has commited to carry out a two-step investment in Axiom Space totalling $100 million – the first phase, $30 million by December 31st, and the second, $70 million by March 31st 2026. The agreement becomes effective upon the completion of the first investment tranche of the transaction.

Axiom Space is working on revolutionary technological solutions that are fundamentally transforming the commercial space sector and setting the direction for developments in the coming decades. This investment represents Hungary’s leadership in the space ecosystem and is indicative of the strong ties between Hungary and the United States,” commented Gellért Jászai, Chairman of the Board, 4iG.

Houston-based Axiom Space is a leading global player in commercial human spaceflight and space infrastructure development. The company has significant experience in conducting crewed missions onboard International Space Station, as well as in the development of Axiom Station – a commercial space station.
