Quay Street announces leadership moves
November 27, 2025
Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios, has announced two senior moves within its creative leadership team as the company continues its growth across UK and global drama.
Fiona McAllister (After The Flood, The Stolen Girl) will take up the role of Head of Development, leading Quay Street’s development strategy across all scripted projects. Since joining the company in 2021, she has played a central role in shaping its fast-expanding slate, working closely with a wide range of writers and creative partners to bring bold, original ideas to life.
Davina Earl also steps into a newly defined executive producer role, working alongside Richard Fee as part of the senior creative team led by CEO Nicola Shindler. A core member of the Quay Street team from the early days, Earl will oversee a slate of high-profile productions, with recent credits including The Red King (UKTV), Men Up (BBC) and The Guest (BBC), the latter drawing strong critical acclaim and standout viewing figures.
Nicola Shindler, CEO and Founder of Quay Street Productions, commented: “Fiona and Davina have both been instrumental to what we’ve built at Quay Street, and these appointments reflect their brilliance and the trust we all have in them. I feel incredibly lucky to be working with them, alongside Richard Fee. Their experience and talent are invaluable as we grow the company.”
McAllister said: “Quay Street is such a special company – it’s a privilege to work in this smart, fun team who are all so passionate about TV. I’m delighted to have the chance to carry on Davina’s brilliant work, putting writers and creatives at the heart of everything we do, pushing ambitious, bold ideas and growing the slate in exciting new directions.”
Earl added: “It’s been a total honour working with Nicola, Richard and Quay Street’s hugely talented and hard-working editorial team as head of development. We’ve had a brilliant few years building a development slate we are very proud of. Fiona has an incredible editorial brain, an indefatigable work ethos and is loved by writers. I’m delighted to be passing the baton onto her and look forward to focusing on my projects in development and production.”
Founded by Shindler in 2021, Quay Street Productions’ current and upcoming titles include Lazarus (Prime Video), Run Away (Netflix), The Guest (BBC), After the Flood 2 (ITV), Tip Toe (Channel 4) and The Blame (ITV).
