Abused by Mum: The Ruby Franke Scandal examines in harrowing detail how Ruby Franke went from picture-perfect, all-American mum to child abuser. She amassed millions of followers on social media, also becoming a millionaire with her husband Kevin whilst documenting the lives of their six children. But, behind their perfect façade was a nightmare waiting to be uncovered.

I Cut Off His Penis: The Truth Behind The Headlines, follows the story of Lorena Bobbitt, who chopped off her husband’s penis 30 years ago. The world’s media was gripped and the Bobbitts’ story became the ultimate cautionary gender tale. But Lorena wasn’t the first – or last – woman to commit the act of penicide. Exploring cases around the world, this revelatory documentary goes behind the headlines to hear the extraordinary personal testimonies of those touched by this very specific act of violence and asks why it is committed.
