ITV Studios makes Data and Business hires

ITV Studios has announced a number of senior appointments to strengthen its Data & Insights and Business Development divisions under Tom Clark, EVP, Global Sales & Commercial Strategy. ITV Studios said the hires are part of its wider strategy to drive growth and unlock new opportunities across Global Partnerships and Zoo 55.

ITV Studios is investin in its Data & Insights capability, which underpins decision-making across distribution strategy, content investment and its owned and operated D2C channels via Zoo55.  Building on the work the incumbent team is already undertaking in support of the wider ITV Studios production business, the new team members will add senior leadership and experience in exploring business insights from a data perspective.

Jason Fletcher joins as SVP, Data & Insights effective immediately, bringing experience spanning data, analytics and content strategy. Over the past nine years at Sky, he built and led a team of specialists who were responsible for advising on some of the company’s biggest content partnerships including Netflix, HBO Max and Paramount+ as well as Sky Studios’ commissioning and acquisitions.

Joining Fletcher’s team is Rebecca Ameson as VP, Data & Insights, moving over from ITV Studios Technology. In July, Felix Eccleshare also came on board as Senior Data Analyst, and will be supporting Fletcher and Ameson in delivering insights across the business. Prior to this Eccleshare was the Internal Communications and Engagement Lead at the BBC.

In addition, the bolstered Business Development function will play a role in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities from a wide array of growth prospects – including new content formats, off-air exploitation, catalogue expansion and commerce. They will operate across Global Partnerships, Zoo 55 and Brand Licensing.

Yannis Ioannidis joins as SVP, Business Development, bringing extensive international experience across content, technology, and strategy. He spent seven years at TikTok/ByteDance in London and Los Angeles, where he led global content partnerships, negotiated the company’s first rights management agreements, and drove international expansion of new products and features. Earlier in his career, Ioannidis held leadership roles in Deutsche Telekom’s Pay TV & SVoD division, and worked in consulting and startups across the US, Central Europe, and the Middle East.

Also joining the team is Will Johnson, Business Development Manager. He moves from the ITV Studios Global Content team, where over five and a half years he rose from Coordinator to Senior Executive, working with labels such as Poison Pen, ITV Studios America and Apple Tree for distribution, and managed key international relationships.
