Cairo-based satellite operator Nilesat reported that its first-half year revenues amounted to $48.63 million (€41.63), a slight drop in the amount achieved the same period last year ($50.80m).

But while the revenues have fallen when compared to 2024, the operator’s profit is up. Nilesat posted $32.33 million in net profit from continuing operations in the first half of 2025, higher than $21.47 million in H1 2024.

During the satellite operator’s second quarter of 2025, the Egyptian stock exchange-listed company achieved a year-on-year increase in net profits from continuing operations to $17.58 million, versus $15.09 million in Q22024.

Nilesat’s revenues fell to $24.56 million in Q2 2025 from $25.35 million in the same quarter a year earlier.
